Some days days the weather just doesn't co-operate. You had an outdoor shoot planned, but rain has put a damper on your plans. Don't dispair, there are plenty of ways to make good use of your camera and learn something at the same time. If you can, enlist a family member to model for you, as you experiment with natural light or depth of field. If no model is available (or willing) use whatever is handy, in this case I used a guitar.  My Stratocaster made an excellent subject  and never once had to be told to sit still.
