Iowa In B+W 

Over a year ago I made the move from Collingwood, Ontario, to Ames, Iowa. Moving from one town to another can be difficult, but changing countries as well is very challenging. During this time of change I have neglected this website, but not the photography behind it.  The following brief slide show highlights some initial impressions of my new hometown of Ames. They do not do the beauty of this mid-west college town justice. That will come later. As a note to photographers, these images were processed using "Alien Skin" software to simulate classic wet plate photography.
